The brief:

To improve brand visibility and increase dining facilities at a series of high street SUBWAY® stores by adapting the ‘front-of-house’ facilities to cater for a broader spectrum of clients in a competitive marketplace.

The Broadview solution:

Broadview established that the installation of an innovative external screening system would help to create greater visibility for the stores and also provide an enclosed outdoor seating area for customers to use. Broadview designed and manufactured low-level, branded pavement barriers which offered SUBWAY® franchisees the option of having either a temporary or permanent fixture.

Made from mesh, the full-colour banners were printed using SUBWAY®’s corporate colours and included the company logo to ensure the barriers complemented the stores. Each branded banner is fixed to one metre posts, which can be connected if required, to produce a rigid eyecatching framework. Banners are also available in vinyl or canvas materials and can be inserted on to black, polished or chrome posts.

The result:

The Broadview pavement barriers have assisted with increasing store brand awareness and dining facilities. The barriers have offered an ideal solution for a draft-proof environment, adding shelter, comfort and safety for customers from traffic and passers-by.

The promotional barriers not only serve as an extended area for customers to utilise and enjoy ‘alfresco’ dining, but also as high visibility signage and advertising for a business.

Low-level pavement barriers have been installed at a number of SUBWAY® stores including Poole, Bournemouth, Plymouth, Salisbury and Torquay.
